Haha. Thanks. You're the only one who has picked up on this! Inc friends/family.

Private Dancer is keeping hers. PD for short.

I still need to get me a Steve French. I'd love a Serval or a Savannah. Maybe one day smile

Mum was back loving her from the minute she saw her. After three days gone she's settled right back in. I think it was fate.

Fate indeed. And Mum is very clearly saying here "she's back and she's mine and I'm keeping her and don't you go thinking otherwise!"

Well done rescuing her.

What was their reason for doing this ?
She said because her daughter was allergic - she told me she had two sons. She said she'd saved my number to send me updates, when questioned why she hasn't contacted me to return the kitten she said she'd lost my number as she doesn't know how to use her iPhone, told me proudly she'd been offered £200 for her. There are many, many more discrepancies.
I wanted to see these babies live out their lives. The thought she was lost wrenched at my heart. I'm glad she's back home. She's not a commodity. She's part of my family.

Some people are just scum.

Very glad you got her back G. thumbup

Where does the name Private Dancer come from though? I only know if one source and that is a Jack Vettriano painting.

Though the OH has just informed me of the Tina Turner song...

This. I think I may have been driven to violence, and I'm generally a fairly placid soul.

The names (aprart from Rorschach) all came from the series Trailer Park boys.

(It was for fun when they were young really and to register them initially with my vet. My parents bred Chow Chows in the 60s-80s and the were named after Chinese ships)

It keeps playing on my mind, she told me she had a 16yr old 21yr old (sons) yet said her daughter was allergic. I can't see how you get to this age without knowing you have an allergy (especially having been around animals all your life as was also said).

I'm sure had PD been sold she'd have found a loving home. But I'd always wonder what happened to her. Not sure everyone gets it. I can't express how churned up I felt.

My friends that offered to come suggested 'tooling up'. I wouldn't have done that. I just wanted my kitty back.

She settled back in brilliantly and had everyone in their place already!

Well she's home now. They don't eat much...

Came home from work and dumped my bag on my bed. Returned ten minutes later...

Turns out I think she was hiding from Lebowski

Meanwhile I'm slightly concerned about Frida's reading material

One of my longest and best friends now lives in Poland. After seeing my kitten photos he decided he wanted to breed his Maine Coon Altea. Finding her a suitable male friend she fell pregnant and this morning at 5.30am I started receiving live updates of labour and first born kittens. A scan had shown up three, but more were hoped for.

She's had 8!!

I'm hoping to go out there in September. It'll be hard not to want to bring one home.

Some people are despicable. Her excuses about not contacting you were piss poor. So glad you spotted her on gumtree and impressed that you thought to look. Breeding can bring wonderful fun and joy but oh so much stress aswell!! So glad she is back with you. I assume she is staying for life now smile

After the pic with Mum and the one in the handbag that just has to be a no-brainer - although you might want to monitor her reading habits........smile

At some point, I should write a biography of this cat over the past two years..He's continually in the wars / disappears / needs affection.

He has a lot of character and never shows any aggression towards us..He now has a penchant for cheese!!

He is very vocal and is pretty good in the house..
Hmm he looks a bit skinny to say the least..

Agreed..He's been around a lot in recent weeks and seems to be now missing a lower canine, it doesn't stop him eating though.
We de-worm and de-flea frequently, but can't stop him fighting other cats (where we think his injuries arise). He's not sociable except with us..He gets plenty of food when he turns up and never turns it down.

If we move, I'd like to adopt him properly and take him with us, but in the mean time he runs wild unless he's with us and then he's a complete softy. He loves to snuggle up on the sofa and sleeps for France!

This is him today

This is him relaxing in good company wink
