So many gorgeous new kitties <3
Love the big eared rescues Nur, well done. Super cute Barnubus, as well as the other cats posted - so much love.

Just acquired this little cutie in Kabul. Probably under two months old. Remarkable red streaks. It will be interesting to see if the colour changes as she grows up.
Meantime, ridiculously cute.
How unique. Love the red! Never seen anything that vivid before. Has he/she has a normal diet? Do you know the Mother's colour? Looks like a little devil. It needs a suitable name... please keep the thread updated. That's all of the above! Meantime, ridiculously cute.

Thanks Gretchen! I hope you don't mind but I think I may borrow your theme, calling the black and white Steve French and the black one Randy. Love the big eared rescues Nur, well done.
Provisional names for now of course, could well change.

Haven't seen the mother or the rest of the litter. We asked for a kitten and this one turned up in a box. She's on tinned tuna at the moment, to make her big and strong and intelligent. The Spruce goose said:
apologies for hijack but as this is THE cat thread, my cats lefty eye seems gammy, and before i pay massive amounts at the vet, anybody recommend an infected eye drop, are human ones o.k to use?
Massive amounts? Consultation & drops should only be around £60. Most vets would say only if its not cleared up in a week come back.Hardly a fortune when most on here seem quite willing to spend £1000-£3000 on wrist trinkets.

o.k but when eye drops are 4.50 or 60 quid from a vet seems a bit of a con, will take to vet.Hardly a fortune when most on here seem quite willing to spend £1000-£3000 on wrist trinkets.

Yup I wouldn't risk it personally. Just on a size basis alone any amount of medication suitable for a human may be too potent for a much smaller creature is my layman's thinking
There are plenty of substances used for medication in humans that'll knacker a cat in pretty short order; not worth the risk. If money's an issue look up the PDSA in the phone book.Einion Yrth said:
