Barnabas is on the mend, the vets happy with his leg so is allowed out to play for half a hour or so, back this Thursday to have his stitches out which I’m sure he’ll love!

Why? there is 3 or 4 other little videos with it, the cat jumped up itself and in the other videos is happily sleeping in the frame

I didn't see the cat jump and thought it might have been put there. I retract... grumpy

Barnabas is a very pretty cat!

Our hunt looks like it's over. We've been looking for a few moths now and haven't been able to find any rescue Birmans. If we were going with a breeder we decided on a male blue point Birman but the boys seem to be tough to find.

Finally found someone who's got a blue male kitten. I think I'm in love!

ashleyman that’s not fair!

I don’t recall ever seeing or hearing this quote, but I like it

“If cats looked like frogs we'd realize what nasty, cruel little bds they are. Style. That's what people remember.”
Terry Pratchett

Same with squirrels. If they didn't have bushy tails and sit up holding their food to eat, we'd be looking at rats running around our parks.

Image. Never underestimate the value of image.

I’m confused! What’s not fair?

I’ve never actually been in charge of getting a pet before so I’m quite excited yet nervous!

We have glis glis round here. They have image in spades! Never mind that they chew through your wiring and cause a fire, or that that fight and fk in your loft making more noise than a randy teenager, or even that they drown themselves in your cold water tank in your loft! They're pretty! Like a mini squirrel after a beauty make-over.

Two cats, both alike in attitude, on a bed, where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where cat makes cat clean.

It always amazes me how two cats who share not a single thing in common apart from where they eat and sleep can be so comfortable together when they feel like it. Normally they chase each other (when Marley actually bothers to come home!)

He’s gorgeous. And I’m jealous. I miss the tiny kittens. Lots and lots more photos please. When does he come home?

I wasn't sure if i had done something wrong. ha ha.

A little bit of bad news, when I phoned up this morning to reserve him, he and his brother had already been reserved.

Out of 3 kittens he was my first choice. The other kitten which was my second choice was still available so I'll be having him and have already paid the deposit!

Hoping to go and meet him tomorrow and see him whilst he's still tiny!. Apparently they need to stay with mum until 14 weeks so the first date he can come home is December 18th which is ages away. frown

This is him:

We went to meet our kitten yesterday. He's 5 weeks old and we've named him Bear. I'm a little worried about the gunk near his left eye, it could be conjunctivitis or just a little bit of sleep. I'm sure the vet will check him out when he goes for his microchip and shots. I think we bonded, he fell asleep on me and when it was time to go home he cried and clung on when trying to put him down. frown

Pickup will be around December 18th at 14 weeks old. Breeder has promised us lots of photos, I cannot wait to bring him home!
