It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
Said goodbye to our little lad yesterday! 5 years old, just an amazing pet who we loved so much and always showed us love!
Unfortunately took a turn for the worse yesterday afternoon, after blood tests the vet concluded it was kidney failure, hardest chat I've ever had and all so sudden. It has affected me more than I thought it would, the house feels empty and we already miss him!

5 years old is an awful age to lose a cat.
Fine looking lad too
It affects everyone differently. There is no right or wrong way to be feeling
RIP Rupert
Just a quick bit of advice from you cat experts.......
I've just moved house and 'Albie' has been kept in since Thursday, however twice today he's managed to escape. Last time this evening was into the garden for about an hour or so, leaving his scent and running round like scalded cat. Whilst out there he was either trying to warn off another cat, or tried to make friends but it wasn't reciprocated!
Anyway, other cat pegged it and half an hour later Albie finally came back into the house through a door I had left open (on purpose), I quickly shut it when he was in.
Now, he has got the right hump and keeps trying to open the cat flap, or walk up to the patio doors and see whats happening in 'his' garden.
Other info, he's not burying his poo in his temporary litter tray (to warn other cats?) and it reeks! He wees in there, but just not burying the No 2s.
So, he is showing signs/appears confident to go out, should I let him or still keep him in?
