She normally sleeps in that cat bed but that box has now become the number one choice. I daren't throw it out!

Talking of lights. I changed the lampshade on my antique standard lamp a few weeks ago. The original one is on top of my wardrobe awaiting a new upcycling project. It is NOT going to be a cat bed...
Frida surprised me by popping her paw out initially and it moved. She’s taken to curling up to camp inside it as of it were a Bell Tent.

She loves lamp.

It seems the bathroom floor is one of the favoured cooler spots this evening

Either that or Frida is somewhat depraved...

Freya is just weird. When everyone else, including the other 4 cats, are trying to find somewhere to cool off a bit, she decides it would be a really good idea to sit under the heat exhaust pipe of the air con unit. Possibly the hottest area in the house.

She is a fatty so might be trying to sweat some lard off.

Weirdo.

We used to have a little male who loved to jump up on to the top of a wall mounted bookshelf in our last house. It was a double shelf but had no 'roof' so the tops of the top shelf books were where he'd end up - sometimes. If we came home and found the floor covered in books and half the top shelf empty, we'd know that he had failed in his attempt while we were out!

I haven't a clue how he got up there! We just heard a large crash as he knocked something off the top.
