I’d have a cat tomorrow, but I’m in a rented flat on a fairly busy main road at the moment, as well as still having The Idiot. Neither I (nor my GF (a feline specialist vet) think cats should be restricted to being indoors.
That's something that is open to discussion and individual circumstances. Being restricted to indoors is better than being restricted to a pen in a cat shelter, which many of them are (there being more cats than homes available). Not only the circumstances of the owner, there are cats who don't want to go out and others that have something wrong with them and mustn't go out.
As I mentioned, I can definitely see a cats (or cats) appearing, but not just now as the circumstances aren’t right for me, them, or Jussi. And I’d happily adopt a black one!

Wow! What a nice cat you have. Here's my kitty, her name is Simba, she's 4 years old. She's very calm and soft, though sometimes she loves to scratch my sofa and other furniture. I bought a cat scratch as catademy advised and now she's doing that less frequently. What habits do your pets have by the way?I will have to get more pics of Ralfy

They must be related !! Their markings are very similar.
Mine continues to be lovely, except for climbing on my dresser and ‘losing’ one of my favourite cuff links( I found one by the front door, no idea where the other one is)...but she really can be quite dense sometimes...
She’s got the whole kitchen floor to sit comfortably in front of her food, but why do that when you can sit behind it all scrunched up????
