It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
New addition.
We had to have Aslan put to sleep last month but have now been graced by Tiger Lily (Please don’t!)
She is an ex feral cat approx. six years old.
She has spent the first 36 hours behind the stove, but now taken up residence on the seat that was Aslan’s favourite.
We are taking things very slowly.

Great looking cat. I hope she settles in.

Not a cat person, but that one on the left has some great markings.
What is it, almost looks leopard-like!
Don't want to hurt feelings so the one on the right is good-looking too!!
A Bengal. They’re very intelligent, almost dog like in personality. I have one in silver. He walks on a harness with my dogs. Can take the lids off things, open cupboards and smell Cheese at a thousand paces. What is it, almost looks leopard-like!

He’s also just swiped his paw across the slice of iced Carrot Cake I was about to enjoy

Awesome Gary. Giving an unloved cat a home shows true love.
Thanks Chris. She wasn’t unloved, living in a cat sanctuary with about 100 others. The sanctuary has a no kill policy and is very comfortable with sofas and stoves in various outbuildings. It was a lovely place to visit, run by a lady in her mid 70s.
We are getting lots of purring and even allowed to stroke her tummy.
She still treats the back of the stove as her safe place, but comes out quite quickly.
Be fun trying to introduce her to the dogs.

Feral cats are brilliant. I love their don’t fk with me personality. It makes the occasional purr and loving even more rewarding. She wasn’t unloved, living in a cat sanctuary with about 100 others. The dogs will soon know their place...
ETA I aspire to be that lady.
Is there anything in the world cuter than a kitten?? That one looks like it might be trouble
It’s been chucking it down here for the last 2 days. The boy isn’t that bothered as it just gives him an excuse to be even more sloth like than usual. He’s happy enough as long as he has food and I give him a tummy stroke every hour or so.
The girl however is gradually going stir crazy. She’s been belting round the apartment since 5am, climbing things, jumping on furniture, attacking rugs and chirping/squeaking/yowling.
Hilarious watching her run round - marble floors give zero lateral grip, so there’s big oversteer round every corner and lots of crashing in to things. Currently sat at the door looking at the rain and meowing to herself.
I love my cats. They make my life better.

She is trouble, our 3rd tortie and by far the naughtiest. She is currently in the aggressive play and pouncing phase, just reached 8 weeks of age. This was last night:
