It is a slightly more obvious tribute than that. The missus is from Jamaica. No other UK based reason, honest... The Spruce Goose said:
Are you keeping any for yourself?
No. But they’re going in pairs to friends, one of whom I’ve known/been best friends with for 36 years, works with me and lives nearby so will see them regularly She’s having Clara and Sebastian. Strangely Sebastian has become rather attached to me this past week. I had a dream last night I kept him and she smashed my car windows! Roofless Toothless said:
Now, obedient and kitten are two words I've never encountered in the same sentence before.
Exactly!! I’m amazed by all four of them. I think experience has helped. Gretchen said:
Ziggy is gorgeous
Thank you, he is only a Heinz 57 but very special to us. He is so well behaved, he is a credit to the lady who raised him for the first 8 weeks.I have been watching this thread for ages, so many beautiful cats out there in PH land. Both the missus and I have been desperate for a cat for yonks and your pictures Gretchen just about did us in.
Let the bonding commence, even with a weeks worth of lockdown whiskers on me he still snuggles up
This is our new arrival, Gordon!
We’re currently in the process of introducing him to our 4 year old resident cat, Zelda. We are following the Jackson Galaxy method and every day shows progress!
That said, it’s now been 7 days and Zelda will occasionally hiss at Gordon if he gets too close to her. However if we hold Gordon and walk nearby to Zelda, she seems accepting and will bump our legs!
Gordon is still sleeping in our bathroom, as we cannot trust Zelda ‘alone’ with him just yet. Does anyone have any tips to help resident cats acclimatise to new kittens? When is it safe to allow a kitten free reign of the house with another cat?
Both Zelda and Gordon are house cats, although I frequently walk Zelda on a leash. Gordon will have the option of walks when he is older ...

Our two new arrivals, still undecided on names so open to suggestions!
Currently Rick and Morty, Mulder and Scully and Ren and Stimpy are probably top of the list, Ren and Stimpy would be my choice but my wife doesn't like it (Never watched it)
Ginger one is male and other female. Introductions with our frenchie is going well so far! He initially seen them as new toys but seems to have got over that now and can be around them off lead which is good, will take it slowly to be on the safe side though.
