You weren’t thinking of putting that washing on this radiator were you?!

In the meantime after putting the heating on, shutting up the Catio and calling Bader in for half an hour... I’ve been shouted at!

Our handsome big lump Max is going on for some dental work next week. His annual check up revealed he may have something called Feline Resorptive Lesions, he seems absolutely fine but going to X ray and may result in a couple of teeth being removed.

One of ours had exactly that recently, she's had three teeth out so far, including her upper left canine. She looks a bit funny when she shouts at us now cos she's only got three big fangs left. Doesn't seem to be hurting her appetite though and I guess she must have been in some amount of pain because although we hadn't noticed any change in her before, she's been much brighter and even more affectionate since the operation than she was beforehand.

Could she be waiting for you to turn the tap on (slowly)? Some cats are really in to that.

Our Louis for one.
Whilst he will deign to drink from the cat fountains if nothing else is on offer he much prefers it straight from the tap.

Very upset with my cat, there has been a lovely Robin red breast coming in the garden, lovely character, been watching them for months.

Well you guessed it he is dead left on the patio. Really trying to stop her go out but is hard really. Anyone recommend a collar that will help birds?

We use Lazer Brite by Coastal. www.coastalpet.com. This is an american company, but I cannot remember where we purchased it.

It is a reflective collar with a bell which is quick release.

Amazingly I can put it on and take it off our cat and come away unharmed.

Hey folks, just looking for some advice. We just moved to a 3 storey townhouse and one of our cats has decided that he really likes jumping and sitting / walking along the top floor bannister (of course)!

There's a pretty big void down the stair well and no obvious way of preventing him from jumping up. Has anyone had similar concerns / found any solutions or do we just have to hope he has enough grace not to fall from the damn thing?!

We have exactly the same problem with our furry idiots. They’re cats, it’s what they do and any attempts to stop it will either be futile or unacceptably over the top (eg safety nets!) They’re much better at whole balancing thing than us clumsy humans and much better at landing when they cock it up.

tl;dr learn to live with it hehe

They do it on purpose to st you up. As long as the bannister isn't too slippy, or has anything draped over it that could slip, they should be fine.

Saying that, McVitie fell out of a tree the other day because she is a dhead. Got it all on camera too!

Took my cat 3 time stuck up a tree in Gails before it learnt to climb down itself.

Only once jumping out my bedroom window chasing a bird, and once getting head stuck in a chair.
