So many great pics.
Here’s one of mine. He stares at the bean bag when he wants to sleep on it, then we have to lift him on and make a hollow for him to curl up in.
That's an example of accidental renaissance, if ever I saw it!Here’s one of mine. He stares at the bean bag when he wants to sleep on it, then we have to lift him on and make a hollow for him to curl up in.

My two foster neonates are doing good. Currently having a mad turn on my bed chasing each other. They’re still in quarantine (from other cats) but the black one (I think female but still yet to be named officially as these need to being with a ‘P’ and it’s proving hard) has developed an awesome skill for jumping. As a result as soon as the lid is lifted on their pen it’s up and out. Capturing a photo has resulted in this…
Which makes me smile.
I’ve got my first real feral coming in next week. One for the external cattery. A percentage of the colony will be caught and kept segregated for a few weeks running tests to gauge an idea of what we are tackling. Unfortunately not all ‘rescues’ have a happy ending

I know this is a weird question but does it cost much to run a cat between food and whatnot?
AKA whats its MPG!
Last year (2020) our 2 cost us £893.46.AKA whats its MPG!
Of this;
£169.44 was an insurance policy
£118.35 was for dry food (we don't give ours wet)
£561.83 was spent at Pets at Home and would have been cat litter, toys, accessories (cleaning spray, treats, nail clipper, top-up food etc)
£36.59 was spent on a drinking fountain
£4.25 was spent on additional filters for said fountain.
Our cat litter cost was higher than you'd expect as one of our two is a fussy little thing who uses one tray for her #1, another for her #2, and won't touch either if our other cat has been in it. So we have to maintain 3 or 4 trays at any given time to save our carpet!
So far our only vet bill was for a general check-up (£120 for the two, I think) in 2019. We would have taken them in 2020 but COVID etc meant it felt not-urgent.
