Snowy. He's still pining for his brother and his behaviour has changed. We've thought about getting him a companion, but he's very timid, and 3 years after getting them, still sometimes flinches when we go to stroke him.

If that is his timid face, would hate to see his angry face!!

Have to agree with this.

I was showing my the photos this morning and saying how I love the work you do.

Anyway, here is a photo of Tigerlily looking cute, as usual.

I have a B & W cat and want a ginger, so this is the compromise never seen one like her..

Google calico cat. I, and the vet, thought she was a tortoise shell until I read about calico cats.

She was a feral rescue who is now incredibly affectionate. I can tickle her belly with no fear of any blood being drawn.

Love a Calico. She’s gorgeous and love a happy feral tail smile

Thank you for the comments. I love seeing the turnaround and cats and kittens finding loving furever homes. It’s so very rewarding.

I’m just back from a vet check with Poppet who came in last night. She’s made a marked improvement since having antibiotics and is now playing and much more alert. Have some more meds to help clear her eye and mucus. Current weight 490g.

Also had a call about a cat and possibly four kittens found in a garden that might be coming to me at the weekend. These will be in the garden pens and hopefully won’t need too much intervention.

I usually get away with belly rubs… not this time!

My cat sitter just got a kitten (Ollie) to keep her older cat (Mig) company, he is tiny!

This is our cat Lucky. Every night when we are sat in the living room you hear a loud meowing that goes on for a few minutes and then he comes in with a teddy he has brought from upstairs! This one is his favourite.

He was a housecat until 3 years old and then we moved house, after a week of letting him outside (he only stayed in the garden though as he was extremely nervous) he went missing. After searching everywhere for months we thought we'd lost him, but after 9 months someone got in contact just two streets away to say he had been living rough and visiting their house for food. After so many false sightings we couldn't believe it when we went to pick him up and it was him. He had cuts all over and knotted fur everywhere. We think something might have spooked him and since it was a new area he couldn't find his way back despite being 100m away. This was about 2 years ago now and since then he has been very happy to stay in the garden! His time on the streets did turn him into an expert hunter though and we have still had regular mice and birds, but he is soft as anything and never kills them.

Poppet was very docile when she came to me. Wouldn’t touch wet food, riddled with fleas and flea dirt, eyes gunked up and barely open and had to syringe feed Cimicat. After meds and steam showers, combing and decontamination, lots of eye bathing this was this morning. She’s now able to breath and smelt food for probably the first time in her life, meowing for attention and would barely sit still for her photo.

Gorgeous. You’re doing amazing work there.

Our Maisie brought home a huge dragonfly last night as a gift. Anyone ever had that before??

Is this a good response? Poppet would love a big sister! She’s so happy and playful. Proper little fun fur ball. Spent an hour teaching her fetch yesterday after work.

Today’s arrival

She couldn’t be caught yesterday. Has hissed and spat apparently and thought to be feral/stray…

She was delivered to the outside pen and cowered in the corner. I sat down and let her sniff me, then touched under her chin and she put her head in my hand. So I just went for it and picked her up…She loves a belly rub, hasn’t stopped purring, meowed when I stopped fussing her.

And the added bonus that she came with her four kittens. They still have their eyes shut so probably less than a week old.

I don’t really want her outside but there’s no room at the Inn at present. Plan is to make sure Poppet is recovered and introduce her to Piquet and Prost so I have a spare room for Mumma and kittens.

Currently I’m sat in the kennel with them in the pouring rain

laugh He doesn't have an angry face, he really is a big softy. He still runs and hides when he hears the doorbell. He lets the vet do anything, unlike his brother Tiny did. I think he could do with some pussy cat antidepressants though.

Too many lovely cats above to single one out. Also, great work Gretchen.

This is Honey. She is a stray, in a real mess but we rescued her and are busy bringing her back to strength.

This is Milo, had more clubs than Frank Worthington. We rescued him a few months ago.

This is Milo's "I was not consulted, I shall speak to my lawyer" face.
