Beauty has hidden pieces, making this even harder than it should be (which is hard as the printed colours are diabolical laugh)

Before I started doing jigsaws on the computer I used to do physical ones. I had one on the go once, and I also had two cats. So I put the empty puzzle boxes face down down across the pieces spread on the table to provide a measure of protection from feline interference.

You can probably guess the rest, I came back into the room to find a cat in each box.

Thought we'd put some bunting around the bar in the back garden, and Kit thought he'd help:

Seems to have angered him though...

laugh the box isn’t cardboard for this, or I’d have a fight on my hands!

I’ve given up on this one, the quality is censored I’ve bought another version

Smokey steals Lego, bottle caps, in fact anything not nailed down, I had to buy a piece of Lego to complete my millennium falcon, I found the missing piece a year later in the back of a hallway closet…

That reminds me of a christmas about ten years ago where we had been doing a jigsaw puzzle with my nephews on the dining table. We then left it unfinished to go into the living room to watch a film. After about half an hour we hear a noise of the puzzle pieces being scraped around in the box.

You can probably guess what we found the cat had decided to do in it.

I don't think magpies are very effective mediators!

It amazes me the hold that Magpies seem to have over cats. All our cats (seven of them over 30 years) have been bullied by Magpies, even the dedicated hunters.

The magpies are nesting high up the tree next to the house. The fluffy finger is determined to get up usually all hell breaks loose at 4am sleep
