So far she has been amazing absolutely loves scratches and strokes won't leave living room but sits at door looking up the stairs
If she's a rescue cat it may be that in her last home she wasn't allowed upstairs. Normally a cat's instinct is to explore. Stand at the top with a sardine on a string smile

Amazing contrast between the cats last few pictures. Always got a big soft spot for big ole toms like our Chester was.

I know it's not Saturday but here are my two, Phoebe and Loki. A little unusual, they're Peterbalds.

Ooh, noce! Never heard of a Peterbald, but we have 2 sphyx’s, both utterly nuts.

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Snowy, our eldest, early this afternoon. He'd been battling gastric lymphoma for a while, we found out about it mid February. He seemed to be doing fairly well on the medication the vet was giving him but went downhill rapidly at the start of this week. The vet's view was that we could do nothing more for him beyond simply prolonging his life in the state he was in, he'd lost a lot of weight, wasn't interested in eating and wasn't even interested in scratches and fuss the past few days.

House feels weird already, his younger sister seems to be looking for him. Extra treats and fuss for all the PH furry overlords. Missing this guy already.

I have always wondered about these cats. Are they destined to be a house cat? Even if you had a cat flap big enough for it to get out, surely the arrival of such a monster in the back gardens of your street would have everybody from David Attenborough to the local zoo or big game hunters turning up.

I think they are magnificent, though, and from what I read, very good tempered.

RIP to Snowy.

Ours are week 3 in the cattery 2 to go. They are doing really well according to the cattery they have been sending regular updates which is both good and a bit sad.

They look sad. Do you go and see them there?

No think that would just confuse them. They are getting well looked after it’s a very small rural cattery with only 10 pens.

Sure they will do a st on the bed to get some revenge when they are out.

They'll be fine in there. If they are sending you pics it generally means they give a hoot about them.

I make albums for my dog guests, and some of them have thousands of pics in them!
