I’ll get it done next few days if it stops you kicking up a stink! wink

Busy at work (blame Covid. I know it can’t be said for all so apologies to those who have and are losing business but the associated paperwork is taking it’s toll) second vaccination for me today too. The joys. Currently cuddled up with PD, Bruce, Lebowski and Daddy which is lovely. Catio we went to look at wasn’t what I thought (needed individual panels like mine but it was built as one).

Bruce and Gwyneira are eight months now. Here’s Bruce just for a cat related change

Had my Mother of Cats (GoTs) t-shirt on today and someone thought it read Mother of s! I sometimes wonder...(my eldest will be hitting your TV screens at the end of the month and he’s turning more diva by the day! Should’ve stuck with cats).

Did anyone watch Britain’s Tiger Kings last night? The lovely Farmer Andy Johnson lives up the road from me and not mentioned in the programme but he now has two Pumas at the farm so hoping to get pics next week.

Well, that was a tumultuous 24 hours.

Oreo had gone missing - my cat flap last saw him just before 11:00, and it was about 17:30 when I noticed that he'd been out for a lot longer than normal (which is at most, 3 hours).

Next morning, still no sight of him.

My wife posted on Facebook, and some neighbours started chiming in when he'd last been seen. Eventually, one of them had seen some kids walking off with a cat in their arms, a bit afted he'd last been seen. Someone did ask them if it was their car, and they said it was.

I got a message a bit later that a cat had been seen crying about half a mile away from where we lived.

I wandered up there, but couldn't find him. I was heading back, and I got a message from one of my neighbours. They had spoken to some kids that she wasn't sure were the same. These kids said that the knew a girl who had been carrying a cat, and had given it to someone else that had taken it near where I was.

Second later, someone living in that area had posted a picture of a cat they'd just found that was trying to get in. It was him, and it was just the other side of the road from where I was looking (albeit in a back garden).

I rushed over, and he was there - although he didn't seem to look happy to see me initially, but did start winding himself around my legs. As soon as we got home, he ate, drank, and then settled down for a sleep.

I have no idea how we would've got him back if it wasn't for Facebook. I last had a cat dissappear in 2000, and all I could do was put up posters, and knock on doors. I would've never thought to have checked this distance from home.

Never wanting to take away from lost ones, but thought I would introduce this furry lunatic.

A friend of a friend died recently, and if no home was found we suspect this old girl was going to be put down. So, we went to meet her, “got interviewed” by the cat and we took a risk and said we’d give her a home. Chatty 9 year old who is already ruining some expensive carpet hehe

Meet Skittles..

She’s been with us for 2 months now, and she’s gone from being a scared little thing that hides behind / under furniture to clearly believing this is her territory. We adore her.

Thank you for allowing Skittles to take you on. My current foster lost her owner and will be going up for adoption next week. They have a lot of love to give.

He’s gorgeous. Very regal like. What’s his name? I’ve named him Aslan.

His name is Teoh - 14 year old Bengal

10kg in his prime, he now has heart failure and stage 4 kidney disease which has dropped his weight down to 6kg ish

He's happy though - that's all that matters smile

I miss having cats massively. Soon as we move into a house I’m getting a couple of kittens smile.

In the meantime I get to see my parents every now and then.

Baloo is now 16 or 17. Thinks he’s a lot smaller than he actually is.

Aslan is on the chair. He’s about five I think. And Sochi is under the chair. She’s scared of everything. Doesn’t like fleece blankets. Doesn’t like the new carpet in the lounge or hallways that’s been there for about five years now. Rarely sits on you but when she does you feel like the chosen one.

I don’t have a photo of Belle at the moment but she’s also called Little bh Cat (LBC for short). But very fluffy and stuck up!
