It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
Please keep your paws and fingers crossed for these two. The next four weeks or so will be a testing time. Quite literally. A likely outcome isn’t a happy one but I’m fighting their corner.
In the meantime meet the newly named (Nelson) Piquet
And (Alain) Prost
I’d do a ‘tap to tidy’ but the reality is they love their food. They’re VERY lively and quick, and their purrs like engines, hence the names. They’ve come a long way in a few short weeks and I’m hoping they enjoy whatever time they have.

How are Piquet and Prost getting on?
Doing brilliantly. And had some good news yesterday evening. The feral test cats that were trapped have all tested negative for the various nasties being investigated. This means Piquet and Prost have a chance at finding homes as they will now be tested at 12 weeks themselves (they’re approx 8 weeks). Paws crossed they’re all clear.
Plus… it means I’ll have more kittens over the next few weeks. Like this little girl who came to me tonight. She’s in quarantine and already have her on antibiotics as has mild cat flu symptoms. I’ve just taken a hot steamy shower with her this will help clear her airways before bed.
I’ve named her Poppet.
(One of the head carers, and fellow cat lover, at work calls the residents Poppet and had a bad day today so it was in her honour and to cheer her up).
