Czech Wolfdog (CSV). I needed a dog that could come with me on my long MTB rides out, 30km+, in The Lakes. Plenty of good breeds can manage that I guess when mature, but an Italian friend breeds the CSV so we thought we would get one.
Not an easy dog though, very intelligent, especially compared to our labs... Still a pup (born late Jan) but already super quick and agile.
Super-cute face when she runs (bounces): https://youtu.be/iooGxNl75ak
Stunning dog. I met a woman with two wolf dogs last year, they were gorgeous and very friendly, she did say they were hard work though, always wanting to be around her, she couldn't leave hers alone for more than an hour or so. I would love to have a wolfdog (my favourite breed is a german shepherd, so these are a step up from that), but know that our lifestyle isn't suitable for one.Not an easy dog though, very intelligent, especially compared to our labs... Our new rescue dog, a Collie Cross called Joey. He's our first dog (any advice appreciated!) but he seems full of life, and is getting used to me the more we visit the rescue centre. We're hoping to bring him home next saturday!
He looks like a lovely little chap. We got our two from a rescue kennel a week last Saturday. We walked them a good few times but they never seemed to have any interest in us, seemed really antsy and fidgety, but once we got them home and they realised they were out of their tin box life they changed totally.
