Archie who we believe to be at least 14 years old.

There is a little doubt about his age as we had him from a rescue centre nine years ago after he had been handed in by his then owner a single lady who lived in a flat and who left him during the day whilst she was out at work. He was overweight tipping the scales at 44kg.

He is now riddled with arthritis, poor eyesight and hearing, and covered with fatty lumps but in true Labrador style still loves his food.

Oscar's 'Rocky' Moment - we'd climbed nearly 1000ft at this point.
It's the highest point in the Mendips..... It looked flat on google maps, when I scoped it out as a potential walk hehe

Not a dog but two years of dog walking shoes. The second pair which were Salewa pretty disappointed in, the Scotts , like their bikes, pretty fine.

It's about 700 miles on the Scotts and about 250 miles on the Salewa

Apologies for boring you with another picture of Chewie but we walked the horseshoe ridge in the Brecon Beacons today. 12 miles and it was rather challenging. Bloomin windy too.

Remember not to tie them to the tent this time in a cat area.

It's probably because of his name but that shot reminds me of the end of the Force Awakens with Luke looking windswept on a remote island.

Love the name...love the dog...keep posting!

laugh

It was so windswept up there, I felt awful for him, worried he was cold but was thankful for having the jacket as I'm sure he was.

Slightly nicer weather here

Bo our Newfoundland / Rotweiller / ? mix. On the beach at Jersey Marine during our summer holiday to Wales. He will be 11 in December and travelled from Denmark with his two mates Jack (7 in December) - retriever/setter mix rescue from Denmark and Lupita (approx 3 in December)- terrier mix, rescue from Bosnia. It was a long journey (approx 20 Hours in the car including a ferry crossing), but well worth it when we got to the Beach a day or so after arriving- which is several kms long, and we were the only ones on it !
