Thanks, I'm pretty chuffed being 3 secs slower than Jo Gleed - always the bridesmaid but enjoying the after party
Good luck for Beacon, I know what you mean about time, I never have enough either!
How did you get on at Tunbridge Wells? We had a good weekend up at Beacon. The Collie won a jumping class on Saturday, the cocker who was just coming back from injury came 4th in a low height steeplechase qualifier (his one round over the weekend) and we think he qualified for the low height steeplechase final in August. Our slightly crocked slightly blind springer who doesn't do much at all had a clear but slower in the same round. The other springer came 5th in champ final so can't complain about that. Could have been clear but flew her seesaw as my wife couldn't get to quite the right place as the judge was in the way so they got 5 faults. Shame but that's how it goes.Good luck for Beacon, I know what you mean about time, I never have enough either!
We had an 8th in combined agility, and were the fastest of The unplaced clears in our 2 jumping just missing out on a 12th and 6th - huge classes and only 4 runs over the weekend that’s not too shabby. He’s consistent and accurate but not a fast collie or spaniel beater.
I’m trying to hold him in G5 (3 wins already one with 0.0002 time faults because I held his contacts for 4 seconds each! No other clears of 70 dogs! - crazy!) because we are not quite ready for 6 but it’s hard to be disciplined with only 1 win needed! Paws in Park this weekend - going to be fun as ive entered the Hoopers classes too
Are you at KCI or Dogs in Need? Not been to either before- looking forward to them!
PS / is that the SAMS LHO you Qualified? I got in at Wallingford but declined the final as I’m at SKS at Hickstead

It is how it goes that’s very true! But not bad results with a jumping win!

Hiya yes it was the SAMS LHO final Jack qualified for on his first time back (because one of the other dogs that beat him is already in). Our old decrepid springer also qualified a while back so we said we'd do the finals show as she never qualifies for anything so we were going anyway, but we have seen some of the other people that have qualified and are sure they are champ dogs that they have put over low height just to qualify for that final because they don't usually run their dogs over a lower height for welfare reasons (as our old springer does) so feel it's a bit cheeky, but still within the rules so not complaining. I think my wife may have entered our other springer (G7) at a show at low height to try and qualify her as well. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!We had an 8th in combined agility, and were the fastest of The unplaced clears in our 2 jumping just missing out on a 12th and 6th - huge classes and only 4 runs over the weekend that’s not too shabby. We aren't planning to go to DIN or KCI, we have done KCI previously as qualified for Olympia semis. We should do it as we are midlands based but it is just a bit too big for us to enjoy camping at, so we would only go if qualifying again but then not every day. Never done DIN.
We aren't at a show this weekend, although are helping doing a local competition whose proceeds go for a local dog rescue so the dogs will get a run out. We're going to Matlock next weekend for a 5 day show. Can't wait.
Good luck at Paws in the Park. Go on, get that last win, you know you want to..... My wife spent a year holding the collie back holding contacts etc, and now we think he's ready to progress he keeps screwing it up!
Meet our new dog, to be collected in 2 weeks time. Gorgeous little female Cavapoo:
We're stuck on a name though, our 4yr old wants to call it Waffle, which I'm in favour of, but sadly we can't get this past the wife. Unfortunately all the interesting dog names seem to be for boys, Rufus, Roscoe, Hunter etc
Edit - No idea whats happened with the rotation, and I can't seem to fix it

Depending on the age of your kids, there is a CBeebies TV show called Waffle the Wonder Dog currently doing the rounds...
