In other news Summer lost one of her best friends. My mate had 2 rescue staffies and the older one had to be pts as his back end gave up RIP Ben. He gave it about a month and his other one was getting lonely so he got another rescue. The chunk on the left is Vinnie, despite looking like he will murder everyone in sight he is a big loveable clumsy lump, gets on great with people and other dogs. Just to highlight how dense he is, how Summer is made up of 99% fluff. They are pretty much the same height and length. Summer is about 20.5kg and Vin is 51kg!!
Vin looks like a bruiser! What breed is he? Looks like a cane corso maybe?I bet people cross the road when they see them coming
P.s. sorry to hear of Ben passing also
You can see the look of concern on people’s faces when Vin says hello to their dogs but he is fine. One guy had a go at my mate on a beach when the guys dog started on Vin but otherwise been fine.
I think he is an American bulldog.
Must have been a brave dog to start on Vin
It was the tail that made me think of cane corso as I remembered seeing some with shorter stumpy kind of tails like that before, something like this (minus the cropped ears though ):
Murphy is very cute, I don't think I have seen an Australian Labradoodle before seeing him, I may have missed it in your other thread, but what makes the Australian part?
Also good to see Diesel again, I have a big soft spot for any black/tan dogs thanks to growing up around Dobermann

Alfie, yes more than likely a heeler.
Anybody able to enlighten me as to how Jean managed to find a stick in this scenery I’d be obliged.
There are no trees anywhere, oh and we can add badger to the list of animals she’s sniffed out and chased, good job their recal is excellent.

I believe it's from how they were bred to be non-shedding. So people with allergies can have a dog with much less issues, as I'm quite sceptical about these things I won't say 'no issues'.My understanding is that Labradoodles were first bred by Australian Guide dogs in an attempt to have a non shedding dog. They have proved to be very successful globally.
With a first cross you can never be sure which genes will be passed on.
People with severe allergies often opt for a second generation cross, often crossing with a poodle again.
Murphy looks fabulous. I am sure you will have many happy years with him
