Frenchies are such comedians - I love the expressions on Bruno's face!
The last one says "I suppose you thought that was funny?"
Bruno reminds me of Jack Dee...just a dead pan judgmental face 75% of the time. The other 25% is full on killer dog attack mode as he tries to clamp onto various parts of Freya in an attempt to slow her down from getting the ball I just through. He's like a Columbian centre forward...He's like a Jack Dee look-alike Columbian centre forward The last one says "I suppose you thought that was funny?"
He looks great.
Our Rocco is like that too, hes usually so laid back and just stares at things, even when other dogs are getting all agro and barking/growling at them he just stares at them with no reaction at all wandering whats going on, we were in Ikea with him not long ago and two chihuahua's were going mental every time they seen him and he just sat there watching them.
When hes in a playful mood at home though he can just out of the blue start play fighting and jumping all over you, every time he comes back from a walk he goes mad and jumps on whoever is sitting down on the sofa, often launching himself onto it from an impressive distance! (Not always successfully...)
He has a very similar face/position when we shower him as well, doesn't seem to enjoy the shower part so much, but loves the hair dryer afterwards and happily sits while you dry him off, even shuffling around to get better angles on his sides/underneath
Few pics of Rocco from the weekend:
Modelling a cowboy hat in the shop at the weekend Poor guy...
Female dogs do seem to take a liking to him so may need to get him one of these... they obviously cant resist his pig like charms!
There was an elderly female dog recently in the local dog park that took a real shine to him and followed him around trying to hump him! The owner said she has never done that before to any other dog too!
Flaked out on the sofa after a hard day shopping!

They do thousands and thousands of pounds. That dog or dogs takes the hard work of herding from the farmer saving time and money etc.

Best I've seen Thanks for the comments. And agreed, this and the cat thread are fab. Going through some difficult times at the moment but the dogs (and cats) are a nice reprieve to come home to
Daddy is off away for ten days with his owner from next weekend. Not sure who’s going to miss who the most.
Forever by his side

Also, I never realised sheep dogs can go for that much money!
I got this little critter for 80 quid. One small problem. He’s a sheepdog that’s scared of sheep.

First post I think in here, but just found the thread, sadly after 12 1/2 years we had to have our Rottie put down yesterday, sad times, but it was for the best, she deteriorated rapidly over a 36 hour window.
Absolutely devastated, she was our first family pet, RIP Piper
Lots of love for Rotties on this thread.
First or last, it’s never easy and hurts like hell
Sorry to hear of your loss though, for the best if it was her time though although doesn't make it any easier, at least she had a nice long life with you

He’s still the best eighty quid you’ve ever spent - and will ever spend - though. What a fabulous looking boy.moorx said:
Scout looks lovely - he has a very gentle face
Thanks, he is very gentle, was raised with young children before we rescued him, very gentle with everyone, unless I start a bit of rough play! He is very lazy for a shepard, hes a german/belgian shepard cross, got the size of the german and very thick double soft coat from the belgian side i think, certainly struggles in this heat!! Was very overweight when we got him but got most of it off now! He shrinks alot when wet!Pesty said:
Thanks, reckon he would love a good rough play with your two!Pesty said:
Agreed re Scout. Love the pic of him sleeping. Pesty your two look so athletic. Their bark is different to how I imagined. Gorgeous.
