The Wolf is proving to be an excellent MTB partner.
Taken on our first 30 km MTB session at Grizedale Forest. She was still full of energy when we got back home.
You do provide some of the best photos on this thread in terms of dog/scenery. That not meant as slight on any of the photos/dogs on here...yours are just expectional in my opinion. Taken on our first 30 km MTB session at Grizedale Forest. She was still full of energy when we got back home.
Your photos always look like something out of the zombie apocalypse and you and your wolf are the lone survivors
I have a vivid imagination...sorry.

Bless him, he's lovely!!!!
Agreed, seems like a right character Quite independent but loves other people and dogs.
He's a very happy dog though and keeps me company, if a bit of an annoying bugger sometimes especially if you're cooking and he's scouting for a treat or just anything you drop

The gift that keeps on giving. Such an incredible little dog. Hard to believe we are his 4th home.
He attacks the hoover, so goes in the garden when it's hoover time. Still keeps an eye on the noisy devil machine through the window though.
Looks incredibly similar to my girlfriend's parent's dog Douglas who is a rescue JR with some major issues. But he's awesome too. He attacks the hoover, so goes in the garden when it's hoover time. Still keeps an eye on the noisy devil machine through the window though.
Apologies for the slight deviation, but I thought this thread would be a good place to ask, with a high number of dog owners. I also didn't think it warrants its own thread.
Tonight one of ours, a 6 yr old Viz x Dobe gave us a proper scare. After tea they each have a denta-stick, which always get polished off in seconds. Tonight he took it, but then didn't want it, which was worrying as so out of character.
He then took himself to bed, and within a minute he was shaking pretty strongly. Worried I checked him over and his heart was racing. He was really withdrawn too, extremely unlike him. Also in the car he was simply lying on Sarah looking sorry for himself, whereas he is normally really excited about looking around out of the car.
We rushed him to the vets who spent a good 20 minutes checking him over, to declare he's all good.
Anyone any ideas what may have been up with him?
He could have told me he was OK, before I passed a police van coming the other way, doing *slightly* more than 60 rushing him to the vets!

Something similar happened to my old pal, can’t remember off the top of my head what the vet said caused it, it’s was the best part of 14 years ago now, think they gave him an adrenaline jab or something. He’d just been for a walk and was laying out in the garden cooling off when we got back, and suddenly had a funny turn and started shaking violently and his heart was racing like yours was.Tonight one of ours, a 6 yr old Viz x Dobe gave us a proper scare. I agree, the Wolf is breathtakingly photogenic, plus you appear to live a in very beautifull part of the country too - AND you know how to compose a photo....Your photos always look like something out of the zombie apocalypse and you and your wolf are the lone survivors
I have a vivid imagination...sorry.
