Again, was the comment in jest or serious ? We'd love to have play on the beach with someone elses dogs.....
Yes. Seriously. Carry a small bag of dog biscuits and their recall would be better than Crufts, even after only meeting you for a few minutes. :-) redback911 said:

It wasn't so bad when she was that size and walk over your feet. She is now 43kg and the paws are even bigger..It hurts especially on bare feet.

Big Girl, that's extremely heavy for a Ridgeback, that's what you would expect a Male to weigh. If anyone is on Instagram you can follow Piper growing up and her adventures @ piper_the_ridgeback

My new old girl is settling in well. I hated the name Henrietta and she wasn't answering to it anyway, so decided to change.
My old rescue pit I took last year and died... she was called Happy after a sons of anarchy character. So i decided to keep with that theme, this is Gemma They looked nearly identical too... I know its illogical but when I seen her I thought okay that seals it for me. Happy for comparison - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2266126386...
She was nervous at first, I had to physically carry her to get her in from the garden. And then hid in the corner of the kitchen, facing the corner. That was painful to watch.
She still won't use a dog bed so I got a cheap rug from Ikea and she's happy chilling out on that with my other rescue pensioner Kay
