She's gone now, finally at rest.
She had a wonderful life, she watched over our kids as they grew, ran hundreds of miles alongside quads, bikes and humans. Had a little piece of Scottish hillside that she considered her own and hardly ever left and now she'll look over for ever.
If dogs were picking from a checklist of what they wanted from life, I reckon that'd be pretty close to a full house. 17 years of having a bloody lovely time. She had a wonderful life, she watched over our kids as they grew, ran hundreds of miles alongside quads, bikes and humans. This is Misty, and this is her last photo.
Just spent the last hour digging a hole for her at the bottom of the garden with Misty looking on and getting in the way wanting to help as usual. We're of to the vets in 5 minutes.
Good-by Misty, thanks for being a wonderful friend for the last 17 years.
RIP Misty

Dogs should come with a warning saying they will one day break your heart.
So sorry for your loss but memories get us through the hard times......eventually
