I really do wish I could convince my other half to get a dog, I've tried but I fear the damage was done by her mum many years ago, she's terrified of EVERY dog regardless of size or bread. My wife's ok around dogs but still quite wary of them.
Maybe you could try dog sitting or something as a trial to see how she gets on? Find a friendly small one to start with wink
Hadn't thought of that, anybody fancy lending me a pooch for the weekend??? hehe

Am I the only one who can't work out what's going on with the seatbelt in the first pic? It looks like shes' got it tucked into a kangaroo pouch.
It does, but looking at the original on photobucket it’s just the under belly strap folded up a bit.
It's not a seatbelt (although it's made of the same stuff I think), it's a harness. Straps go round her chest and has a loop on the back that then clips into a seatbelt buckle to keep her secure.

Also very handy for walking her with as there's a couple of metal loops on there for a lead to attach to; she's got no concept of heel yet and when the extending lead runs out to full speed it pulls on her chest rather than her neck.

If you have the time for it you could even make money doing it! Might help convince her wink

I'm sure once she has spent some time with the right dog she would be convinced she needs one too biggrin

Our best guess is Half Dachshund, Half Biscuit. Possibly some Beagle, but we're guessing, really. No trace of Corgi ears!

That's a shame. How about signing up for:

https://www.borrowmydoggy.com/

Might be a good way to introduce her to dog ownership.

Thanks redback, I looked at the other post someone put up too, I think I need to talk to her about it when things are a bit less stressful at her work, I'm not giving up I just need to be a bit careful when we talk about it.

True that..!

Love taking one of my labs into the office, it becomes a much less stressful environment - well at least for me. :-)

Starting a dogs-in-office theme for the week.

Hey all,

Sorry for the lack of photos and updates! Cooper has totally taken over our lives (in an amazing way!). His training is going well and he truly is perfect. Anyways enough waffle and more pictures.

Pictures like that turn this 40 year old po-faced man into a ‘awwwwww oooooo coochy little pup face’ etc gibberish fool.

I have more photos of my dogs than I do my kids. It’s not right is it??!!??! hehe
