With regard to Jean pushing Logan out the way for cuddles, I do think you need to make a point and put her down until Logan has had his attention. Our Millie was little like this, but not he velociraptor that Jean is, and I think you have to help Lgan prove his senior status....
Im not an expert btw.....but I do know how much work two can be, and your pair even more so.

Whilst I agree that it is a good idea to ensure that dogs get equal attention, I don't necessarily think you can impose a status between dogs. With the exception of Rosie (who really can't be bothered) all of the female dogs I've had have been 'in charge' even when they've been outnumbered by males. The males just seem to defer to them.Im not an expert btw.....but I do know how much work two can be, and your pair even more so.

I'm saying no more!

Excuse my ignorance but what breed is your dog?
Hiya 4Q, she is a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. Quite a new breed, but not the best pets to be honest. She needs constant attention and/or work/exercise. Jim on the hill said:

Nowt against Rotties, but Milo looks handsome...
He is a pretty good looking little lad, so soppy considering he's never slept in a house. The clothes are only a temporary thing through winter, the rescue centre thinks he will have acclimatised by next winter.

^ Love Rottweilers, met a few locally and each ones been soft, silly or shy. Such handsome dogs too.
We love the breed, our first dog Lexy was a Rottweiler and she was such an poster girl for the breed. Super soft, loyal, intelligent and such a massive personality.Lexy at the front and Holly beaming at the back

Think you should use that last one of Louis as next year's Christmas card! Beautiful!
Definitely. We took Daisy our Frenchie to visit "Santa Paws" on Christmas eve, our local garden centre were doing a donation based photo shoot for dogs with Santa; we were planning to use the photo for his years Christmas card, unfortunately she wouldn't co-operate!!
