My dog enjoyed a day at the seaside last weekend. A friend took this photo (maybe a bit too much filtering) and I really like it.

What is he/she? Looks nice

Settling in okay?
Yeah think so, he seems happy! First time owner its hard to know, but he super affectionate, eats and drinks well and is already responding to the small amount of training we have tried!

He whines a lot when he is out in the Garden, I am guessing that is him being a wimp and wanting to get in the house. We are trying to exercise him as much as we can I recon he does 3-5 miles everyday. with more mileage at the weekends!

My cats have their Catio with ball pit, toys and playhouse, my dogs have The White Garden to run wild in, and the outdoor sofas to chill and sleep on.
So I made myself a Secret Garden.
One where I can climb over the Stile I built, between the hedge I planted, and escape to my Summerhouse amongst a flowery wildlife meadow I lovingly designed and tend. Perhaps an Afternoon Tea listening to bird song without drooling chops and prying eyes, maybe one day I might even have a lawn to play Croquet upon. Some green lush grass without dog foul to lay a picnic blanket out and rest a while with a glass of Pimms... except Daddy arrived. And showed Cookie how to crawl under the Stile.

My garden is a secret no more

Thanks, I think he is a lovely dog. He is a mongrel dog. Possibly a Ridgeback x Staffie x Labrador x Shar Pei, but all that matters to me is that he is a happy mutt.

He looks a nice mix, can see what you mean by the Shar Pei when looking at his head.

Fragile is squirrel spotting in Center Parcs. She is recovering from an operation to remove a lump from her paw that was growing aggressively. Fortunately is is benign but it is taking a long time to heal because the dew claw was taken at the same time and the "wound" was fairly big.

Which Centre Parcs?

Longleat one has a load of stray cats that live in/around the chalets as people feed them
