Arthur’s been swimming again. It’s his favorite thing
Not long left for him sadly, as he’s brimming with late stage cancer
We’re as gutted as one might expect, but he’s loving life still and is running around like a puppy, on his new anti-inflammatory drugs and mild pain killers!
He’s 11, so nothing else to do really. He showed no symptoms until it was too late.
He knows very well, that all is not well
We’re doing what we can for as long as we can, to keep him swimming and sniffing happily amongst the Surrey Hills.

Cancer is a bugger
Hello everyone, new poster, long time pistonheads lurker but decided to join and become a contributor. Bit of background; had 3 Staffies, 2 boys and a girl. Girl passed back in 2013 at 11.5 years (brain tumour), got divorced (not my choice) in 2016 and got custody of the boys. The younger boy passed in late 2016 (also brain tumour) at age 13.5 years and then in April 2017 the eldest passed at age 15 years and 10 months. That hit me hard and cutting a long story short I wasn’t ready to face getting another until recently.
So set out to get another Staffie, love the breed, and a boy, girls are far brighter so I thought I’d go for the easy route and ended up going a totally different way!
This is Thea, 12 weeks and 6 days old.
If anyone is feeding a raw diet I’d be very grateful for any advice you can offer. I previously fed a dry food but because Thea has been raw fed from being weaned I’ve decided to continue it, but there’s a lot of differing info out there so to be able to speak to someone who feeds raw would be great.
Oh, and on the pistonheads front; my current drive is an E70 X5 5.0i, a big comfortable bus 😃
