He really is. I don't meant to spam the thread, but he looks so funny in pretty much every photo.smilesmile

At my parents sorting out my Dad’s will, except I was distracted by an photo album on the table.

This is what I holidayed with

Think I’ve posted the above picture before somewhere. That’s me in the pushchair, Mum sunbathing. Dad towed a caravan along with us and his three Chows. Before moving on to camping in what was always the biggest tent on the campsite. Had to be with all the dogs!

I share a Magnum ice-cream with my Lab most days in the Summer.

My three love it, they don't have lots; the odd lick and it's never done them any harm.

You can get doggy ice cream, the ingredients make it sound rank, however mine love it.

Mine prefers human ice cream to the dog stuff. He can hear the ice cream man coming way before we hear him and is out the door like a shot when he parks up across the road from us. By the time we get there the ice cream man already a dog cornet waiting for him that he charges half the price of a normal cornet. One thing though, Archie can’t eat it quickly enough - why don’t dogs get brain freeze?

What lovely photos to find.

I am sure you have great memories of growing up.

Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful Father.

Hope your grief doesn’t last too long.

Love your new kitten

7 months now with this little girl, absolutely fantastic breed and wish I’d have known about them years ago.
Such a sweet natured dog, with humans and other dogs.

One for Cairn lovers. One old, overweight Cairn. He used to take himself for a walk in a small Highland village and woo the shop girls( and butchers) out of anything he could get to eat.

This was a childhood pet, a present from one of my aunts who was a Cairn Breeder.

In the case of Sparky - no brain.

They have such a great character. Ours has got several people we see on our walks wrapped round his little finger. If he sees them behind us he’ll start going slow (or stop dead) so they catch up and get to say hello to him.

3 of them have got Cairns after meeting ours!
