Awesome, always a soft spot for dobes! Someday I’ll have one of my own, always had at least one in the family when I was growing up.

Fire looks great too, don’t see many Russian terriers around!

We recently had a friends dog stay for a long weekend while they were away. Here’s a couple of pictures I got while she was with us.

One very old Highland gent.
[url]|https://thumbsnap.com/glmYXVk2[/url
He did make human sounds to ask for a biscuit ( clever old sod had found out that he could make his mumbles sound like human voices and get treats )as in "I want one = a biscuit". One reason he was very overweight was that he was a dog of th streets and founded his hunger by visiting the local stores.( in those days in little villages dogs were allowed to be free )
he'd walk in and sit back on his haunches to give the girls a salute and a paw. He'd then get a slice of cold meat.Next stop the butcher/ the baker and other shops where he could perform his tricks to get a treat or two.

The Idiot, idioting, with Piggly. He never gets tired of this. It’s wonderful when it’s night time, I’m asleep and he starts up with it...

Our frenchie has one of those, recommend filming in slow motion for the noise the pig makes and the slow flapping ears if she shakes it around hehe

He's not mine, though I often wish he were, but it's nice to spend my days at work with a super friendly and over excitable dog (called Bear)

We had to say goodby to Arthur last week. Only now can I bring myself to post this!

This was him after a swim only 2 weeks ago. He wanted the chew the stick, but couldn’t frown

He was given 2-5 months when diagnosed and he managed just over the 5.
He adapted to his failing body as the symptoms progressed, but we could see he was confused by his sudden lack of facilities!

The cancer started on the underside of his tongue, which had spread to most other areas before he showed symptoms.
He could have managed a little longer, but for his sudden rapid mouth tumour.

We could see he was starting to withdraw a little and the tumour started bleeeding constantly frown
He was wagging his tail as he trotted into see his favorite vet.....

He can’t be replaced, but I’m keen to rescue another and give them the best life I can.
If I can make them half as happy as Arthur always was, I’ll be content.

I think I have something in my eye now!

Not my dog but how I wish he were! This is Ozzie, the chocolate Dobermann. My best friend's dog. 8 years old, 53 kgs of the most beautiful and gentle dog you could ever meet. My lad is 21kgs and Ozzie will walk with him on the lead like my boy's the boss.
