The Idiot, idioting, with Piggly. He never gets tired of this. It’s wonderful when it’s night time, I’m asleep and he starts up with it...

Not my dog but how I wish he were! This is Ozzie, the chocolate Dobermann. My best friend's dog. 8 years old, 53 kgs of the most beautiful and gentle dog you could ever meet. My lad is 21kgs and Ozzie will walk with him on the lead like my boy's the boss.
Gorgeous! And always lovely to see the adoration they can have for kids. It reminds me of how our collie was when my niece and nephew were of a similar age - absolutely besotted and if they were around she wanted to be with them and involved in whatever they were doing*One of my favourite memories is having charge of the niece and nephew for one very cold winter's day and on our walk we discovered a long puddle that was completely frozen over. Both children had a great time sliding back and forth for ages telling me what a wonderful surprise it was** with said collie running back and forth monitoring everything they did and loving every minute. She must have run for miles keeping up with both of them and never left their sides.
- supervised always of course
- I'd promised them a surprise that day but my surprise was a board game based on the domino effect and not a feckin' long piece of ice The board game never saw the light of day and got passed along to a charity pretty quick
TL:DR post more pictures of your dogs please

Sparky likes to sleep on our bed but he's too big really. On occasion I leave him where he is - on our bed - where I grow to regret that decision as the night wears on and he fidgets and kicks me. So most often, I put him in his own bed.
It's got colder at night so after placing him in his bed last night and hearing his groan (he really does), I thought I'd try him with a blanket. He sighed so loud as it touched him that it seemed to me to be his way of accepting it. And he was still mostly covered this morning so I reckon it's a winner.
