Nellie caught a Mouse last night!

biggrin

She recovered from her leg injury fine then? Wasn't she confined to her crate recently?
Sort of, she seemed fine for a while then started limping again. She’s ‘on light duties’ at the moment, trying to minimise the risk of further damage. Didn’t stop her doing three laps of the lounge at top speed last night though!.
Hope she is fully recovered soon then, she is cute!

He is awesome, I also loved the one in Ray Donovan!

@Gretchen - May I ask who Private Dancer is? hehe
Private Dancer (or PD as she’s more often called) is one of the cats. Frida’s daughter. I named her kittens mostly from Trailer Park Boys.
Haha cool, I do love a bit of trailer park boys thumbup

She's so adorable and I hope that the limp will soon pass. That racing around the room thing is another endearing Frenchie habit - whenever my girl friend's Frenchie got back from a walk, he'd race around the flat for a quick tour. He still has his 'mad minute' moment; it starts with a certain look in his eye, then he turns circles for a short while on the sofa before he's off around the new flat. Daft little rascal. Normally a typically laid-back Frenchie, but if he's out on the balcony and hears a motorbike going past 6 floors down, he has to see it off - barking at it and scampering along the balcony until he's scared it away (in his little head)!

Thankfully vet bills are a fraction of the price of back home. I can get a large dog sterilised for 50 euros or so, a broken leg maybe a few hundred. A leg amputation and all the aftercare cost me 300 I think

That's 200 for the dressings and medication and 100 for the axe.

We had a quote of £1000 for a root canal filling for one of our cats yikes

Astronomical Vet bills are likely the result of widespread pet insurance. Charge what they want because insurance will pick up the bill. A broken leg on Otto cost us £2300. £700 of that was the initial assessment, x-rays and analgesia.

The emotional attachment the owner has been exploited by the insurance companies to extract as large a premium as they can. The Vets are only exploiting the endless money pot.

Agreed. UK Veterinary care is about the same as US healthcare.

Absolutely. Jerry loves the Supervet. Barks like mad and stands up to get a better view of the TV.

In fact, here he is doing his circus tricks on Newport beach yesterday:
