‘Lush’ walk across the dunes and down to the beach at Ogmore-by-sea

Even the old boy was able to join us on a walk much longer than he would normally be able to manage!

Looks like that poor boy had his muzzle taped shut before rescue?

What a beautiful, beautiful dog!

I hardly dare ask, but is the different coloured stripe on his muzzle an indication that it was taped up at some stage? I wouldn't make that assumption if I hadn't seen (on a TV programme) a whippet who had their muzzle taped up.

His story is not a good one, he was bought as a puppy by a Chinese guy who had a large yard on the outskirts of Glasgow, to make him more aggressive they used to beat him and tape his mouth shut, unfortunately poor Tim doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, so they eventually abandoned him at a rescue where no one wanted him because he was afraid of his own shadow and the scar around his muzzle, Rob already had a rescue Dobby called Dudley(Dude for short) so they drove all the way from Salisbury to Glasgow to see him, the rescue saw how they were with Dudley and how they were with Tim and asked if they were happy to take him home there and then, Tim's been with Rob and his family for 2 1/2 years now!!! smile
He's so affectionate and has zero spacial awareness, he's so much fun, Mrs Bobbers isn't normally good with big dogs but loves Tim to pieces, to be fair she's loved all of Rob's rescue dogs as they are encouraged to be very affectionate!!!

Thanks chaps, I'll forward your comments on to Rob, everyone needs a Rob in their lives!!!
Tim had us in stitches earlier, our garden's over 100ft long, he was galloping up and down it the whole time they were here, only pausing for a fuss and a Jumbone!!!

Yes mate, a while back but he'd had Tim a few months before we met him, we gave Rob some time to settle him.

You're not the only one rage
I admire officers that work for the RSPCA. I don't think I could do that job as if I saw an abused dog it would not end well for the Owner or ME!
