‘Lush’ walk across the dunes and down to the beach at Ogmore-by-sea

Even the old boy was able to join us on a walk much longer than he would normally be able to manage!

That’s a fantastic photo. And a nice touch with the rucksack

New arrival due on November 30th.

Mum is a Springer and was rescued from a travellers camp at the end of the summer. She was already a few weeks pregnant, but unsure on who the dad is. Placed with a Foster mum who has been excellent and helped mum deliver 13 puppies 8 weeks ago, but one was lost.

Sad thing is mum is only one and struggled to deal with all the puppies and eventually became too stressful and she was placed in a new foster home. Foster mum and daughter raised the puppies by hand, and we get to collect ours soon. Very excited to have a little friend for our existing Cockapoo Sidney.

We think the dad might have been a collie as he looks very similar to a collie pup with the colourings, and the coat is very soft. Will be interesting to see how he turns out.

Still unsure on names, but Sidney is named after the OH granddad, so the other choices are Ronald, Douglas, Aubrey.

Going to see him again in a few weeks so will send more photos.

I think Aubrey would be a great name, also the name of my great uncle who I loved growing up and was gutted when he departed this mortal coil far too soon!

ETA - My grandfather was also called Ronald. Challo, is there a chance we are related? hehe

haha!! Might be. My mum's father was called Ronald Douglas Heath but died when I was really young. Aubrey was my dad's father so would be good to use either. My dad has also passed and his name was Paul Geoffrey but our sister in-law has a dog called Geoff so dont want to call him that.

Im harping back to Aubrey but my OH is not sure. Other options are Wilbur or Louie but they have nothing to do with family.

Judging by that we aren't but that's quite the coincidence lol. (the other names match my family too on your side and Sindey also matches my great grandfather lol)

I'd love a Doberman. Such lovely dogs, Tim looks great. Kudos to Rob, and to Algarve a few pages back. Top people.

Off to convince my wife that we can have a 4th dog now...

She is a beauty, but then most dogs are.

One question for you, do you have other dogs at home whilst you puppy raise?
We don’t have our own dog but some do. Often puppy walkers have one of their previous puppies as a pet because it has been withdrawn from the program ( this can happen for many reason, about a quarter don’t make it all the way through) we often board other g.d. Puppies and our son’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she’s a right princess so if our current puppy is young that can be challenging! Our puppies go to training classes regularly where they interact with other g.d. Pups of various ages. and we socialise them as much as possible.

Did you post on here before when your mate got him?
I remember reading about the poor dog somewhere but cant think where
Yes mate, a while back but he'd had Tim a few months before we met him, we gave Rob some time to settle him.
I too recall this. Great to see Tim settled in well with Rob smile He’s a very handsome dog.

Thanks for posting.

Sounds very similar to over here in Ireland.

Buzz the Dogo Argentino has been an absolute nightmare the last few days. He seems to have picked up some energy and now wants to have sex with absolutely everything. Female dogs, male dogs, a wheelbarrow, me, a bicycle, a 20kg bag of dog food, etc.

He's made it pretty much impossible to have around the house as I can't manage him like this. So he's been sleeping at the shelter the last few days, and crying all day and night because of this. I've took him out a couple of times each day to try and keep him amused and calm.

Some of the dog beds at home were past their best and its getting a bit cold now, so me and Buzz went shopping for new ones today.

After the pet shop I met my friend at a pub for a quick couple of beers, figured it would do Buzz some good to stay out longer. He kept trying to fk me and had to be put in the van after several attempts to calm him. So he got to sit and watch us from the safety of the van a few metres away biggrin

I'm not sure why but I've brought him home again, I'm already regretting that. Having to constantly monitor him and my dogs.

The dogs seem happy with the new beds at least. The old ones won't go to waste, they've been chucked in the van and tomorrow dogs at the shelter will be sleeping in them smile

Tomorrow morning Buzz will be dropped off for his appointment to get his balls off. He's super friendly so I'm sure once the effects of this kick in he'll be back to being an easy dog to have around smile. In 2 weeks I'm hoping to update this post with another dog bed on the floor and him sleeping in it with the rest of them. Lets see!
