Yup, I'd be the same if you waved that cheese in front me too! :-)

Cheese. What is it with dogs and cheese? My two would kill for a slither of mature cheddar.
They don't get much, only a tiny piece, but they love it!
I had a foster dog called Brutus once. he was about 12 years old, a pit bull. He ate a kilogram of (expensive!) cheese once, along with a loaf of bread and a multi pack of mars bars.

The cleanup operation wasn't pretty.

I just had to go to my Facebook to find that and I uploaded it in 2015. He's still alive now, living a life of luxury in Luxembourg. I'm amazed he's lasted this long but seemingly doing really well. He spent the first 10 years chained up and never had any real human or dog contact. When we brought him here he was superb, I gave him that stray puppy to play with and they were inseperable biggrin

He loves a bit of ruff and rumble , he could crouch my hand but never hurts me.

Basic cow terror model

He Never goes more that 5-10 meters away. Jean pretty much stays by me.

Except when he recognises where he is and there is a place we let him swim. Even then he always stops and looks back to see if I’m going to stop him.

We haven’t approached from this side for well over a year but he still knew exactly where he was. We always go from the other side.
This dog is smart.

No swimming today. That’s the bridge I stand on and throw down to him.

Where I usualy stand on the bridge
