Looking after my parents dog whilst they're away, he's very fond of puddles as you can see but I think Chewie thinks there is something wrong with him, based on this look

Yep agree with both statements; the first one says it all and I just love a cold and frosty morning; the second pic sums up a cold and frosty morning perfectly.

Plus, Chewie is awesome, I love him!

Amazing.

Look at the size of his paws. I presume you realize when he's all grown up he will be bigger than the kitchen!?
Yes - his Dad was a big lad (65kg) a healthy adult weight is 60-65kg for them. When he's 2 you can start drafting with them, that's when plan 'pub transport' becomes reality wink

Our Vislador, now around 7 months old. Genuinely cool dog, no malting, no hyper activity and very loyal.

They look great, I hadn't heard of them before. Could tell he was going to be big by the size of the paws as paulguitar says above!

Keep the pics coming thumbup

Thanks, he's good fun. He's gone off running with me however which is sad. Teddy however loves it, so I took him last night smile

Nice pup and nice to see a rarer breed. I own Caucasain Sheperds what are also mountain dogs.

I've just had a Lassie style conversation with my spaniel.

Apparently it was 8pm and I was in the wrong room. Turns out it was time I should relocate to the living room and light the stove for her.

That's better....

Don't suppose this counts as it is not technically mine and it's not technically a dog, but the story is related to Otto.

Out walking in the fields, we come to a lane and Otto is indicating he can smell something he is not happy with. As we move closer to the hedge line he is more agitated and I can hear something.

Otto goes up and down the lane looking how to get to the otherside and finds a path. Nose to the ground, zig zagging he leads me to this...

Taken on my phone with my head torch on.

No obvious injury, but shivering and altogether worse for wear. I call ed the RSPCA who couldn't give me an ETA, so I called the wife "bring the car crate and some thick gloves" and now it is here, in front of the woodburner, waiting for the RSPCA to turn up, ETA 0045.

My guess it is a pup about 6-8 months old. THere was no sign of mum in the field and I was there for a good 30mins. I would expect mum, if she were around, to be defensive to out presence and show herself.

Otto was a champ. Sat and stayed when I went to get a closer look. Wasn't too happy when I put it in the car for the wife to drive it home, whilst I walked Otto home - didn't think Otto and Fox in the same car was a good idea.

Well done Steve, for taking car of that little one.

Nice one Steve and Otto.

When I take Holly out at night we quite often have a fox 'shadow', her beagle heritage means that she is very anti-fox but the local population know that as she is on a lead they can taunt her wink
