Cooling dog beds for aging golden retriever

Hi all,

We have an aging golden retriever who doesn't like the heat, and so for the past few years we've bought several 'canine cooler' thermoregulating beds and put them in places where he likes to sleep. They seem to help with his arthritis too.

Over the years, he's really liked sleeping on these but over time, they have all eventually split. We have tried to find new ones, but the manufacturer, Chillow in the US has apparently stopped making them due to cheap Chinese copies.

There are a myriad of cheap alternatives out there, but does anyone have any recommendations as to what might work best?
