Ah, the "I was only joking" defence surfaces. A rolleyes smiley didn't cut it.
No defense needed , OP was being a tt for some reason and obviously can't take the banter . fks are not given or cared TBH .
Back on topic , it's been into the minus 20s here the last few weeks and our GS has still been loving her walks and runs twice a day , much more than we have , now temps are hovering around zero during the day and normal service is resumed .

With such a large and heavy set dog with a thick coat, the op should be more concerned with keeping him cool and not over exerting him in the heat of summer rather than having any concerns about he'll cope in the winter.

Hahahahahahaha, warm weather? This is England, it reaches 25c at the most in mid summer.
I’m sure that would have been the sort of reply I would have got from the usual suspects if it was ME asking about how the heat. laughlaughlaughlaugh

Our dogs in the Philippines used to shiver at this sort of temperature, our household air con kept the house down to 22c. They lived outside though.

Anyway, sensible answer, we walked our English dogs in the evening during the summer, much cooler. Back door of the house is open all day, they came in and out as they please. Plenty of water available.

dheads isn't a word I usually associate with 'banter' personally I would only ever use the word if I wanted to insult someone.

Quite, used twice, still stuff like this helps to identify those IRL you might cross the street to avoid.
