Get well soon Bruce!
Sid looks awesome.
Duncan is off walks at the moment as he’s broken another nail - going mental in the front room, slammed into a unit and another one has gone.
He’s sulking.
Poor lad. Does he get regular walks on concrete to keep the nails short?Sid looks awesome.

We had a problem a few years back where we were only exercising ours in the countryside and the nails weren't grinding down. Now they have a paved walk each day also and no problems since.

Just a word, they aren't staffie proof, they just last longer than others :-)As per my other posts, thanks for all the good wishes. Bruce is now fully recovered and filling the house with authentic staffie smells and running round the garden chasing this type of ball like a loony. Two in his mouth and won't let go unless you have a 3rd to throw for him.
Staffies- they love humans, but most take to other dogs. They are one of the most understood dogs on earth. This breed is supposed to be one of the most nasty vicious breeds on earth, feeding on a dog's prey feeling. Yet my little JRT/yORKY met two and they had only one thing in mind- make friends. She'd been attacked by a large dog, yet this two tried to comfort her and show love.

He’s on the mend now so I’ll be able to let him off the lead to carry on being a dhead soon.
First up is max, a staffy cross, we got him from a rescue at 9 months old, he hated all over dogs, so had it be careful with that, but he was amazing with us, we really loved him, but unfortunately 2 years later, he really didn’t get on with my newborn daughter, and when she started crawling, he snapped at her a few times when she went to touch him, and we couldn’t take the risk, so we had to rehome him, very hard decision, but he went to a good home.
Still miss him every day.
After a month we decided we wanted a dog, there was something really missing in our family, didn’t want another staffy though..
We listed down everything we wanted from a dog, and everything we didn’t want, and ended up getting lola... a staffy.
Getting her from a puppy and her growing up with my daughter has made their bond amazing, they really do love each other, and she puts up with a lot of st from my daughter! She’s nuts, she loves other dogs and loves other people a bit too much, always pulling to get to them, and jumping!
Got her 9th April last year, so just coming up to a year now!

Not mine, but my son's. I first met this dog when he lived at the house at th bottom of my garden. I was doing some gardening on the rear fence when Leroy came charging up to the fence and we bonded. Any time after that if I was out in the rear garden, I'd get a howl and a dog at the rear fence looking for a pat. The owner could not keep Leroy and my son took him on.Leroy became the family pet when my son met his partner and grndson arrived, to be nannied by a large Staffie. What a lovely natured dog.
