If you want a small, young dog there isn't exactly much choice in the Dogs Trust Glasgow - https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/dogs/filters... 3 dogs.

Though most of the foreign adoptions aren't because of lack of choice, its because they're saving a dog from a situation like this.



Thats a Portuguese council run pound. Kinda feels like doing something more worthwhile than taking a dog out of a very nice UK pound.

If its all organised crime and they just care about money, why would they need to import dogs from Russia to Romania at huge cost, to then export them onwards?

Romania has a horrible stray dog population, anyone could go out with a van and get as many unwanted dogs as they needed at little/no cost. No stealing, no shady Russian imports involved.

Of course you are entitled to disagree with me however as I am involved with this trade I have a decent insight into it. Readers can make their own informed decisions.
