Thanks for the nice comments smile

I cried a little earlier as I dealt with the situation. Driving to the vet with her happily sitting next to me, our usual Queen greatest hits blasting out, it was hard to try and think of the nice times rather than the current situation. But now its all done I'm sitting here happy, not sad. I need to be realistic about these things. She had a horrible life till we got her, but we couldn't change that. She was already terminal when I took her on. She lived way longer than expected, had a superb time here whether it was hanging around at home with my dogs:

Or whether it was on our daily trips to the shelter:

My own dogs might not have loved her or paid any real attention to her but they accepted her and she was happy living our her last days here. She had the best she could have had and I need to be happy with it. If I took any other line of thought I'd drive myself bonkers taking on these cases laugh

No doubt I'll have a fresh post in this very thread soon with a new guest.

Anyway no need of any further sad replies, lets get back to the uplifting stuff of your dogs doing cool stuff, lets go cool

Arch dozing off after a good run down the beach. He often sleeps like this with both his front and rear paws crossed!

He so loves that rug, especially as it’s right in front of the wood burner too!

Fabulous looking beasts. Anyway, Arch never sits still throughout the course of an evening so having done a stint on the rug in the front room decided to move to his second favourite spot by the front door. Again with the crossed paws!

Fantastic dogs. When we stop traveling so much, our Bostons will be getting a big sister for sure.

What apps do people use to resize photos? All of mine are either too large or the upload image says "no image"

Second season - way messier than her first, so nappy on...
She’s taking it very well in the main, although this face does tend to say otherwise laugh

Obviously the dog nappy is for a different reason, but our Frenchy Nellie, uses exactly that pose when she does a Poo, she tries to find a convenient fence or wall to stand up against. I’ve never seen another dog do that. Very wierd.
hehe

Never seen a dog doing that before either!

+1000

Its great what you do for the dogs there, I don't think I could do it myself but glad there are people that can and do! thumbup

I have heard many times before (and also believe it myself) that dogs live in the moment and not the past, so its great she had the time with you before she passed on so she could go a happy dog for sure!
