Sadly, dad had to say goodbye to his German shepherd, Dave, last week. Poor guy was 10, and his legs and hips had totally given up over the last 5/6 months. He had a great life though, but dad is really missing him. Spoken to him three times since last Tuesday when he was put to sleep, and he’s cried everytime. Anyway, here’s a couple of Dave, RIP fella.

There are rumours that the woods are haunted. It's not, it's just Wally.

I feel for your dad Andy. Such a handsome boy beautiful face. Hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life was send my last German Shepherd to doggy heaven.

Hope he's running about with my Storm....chasing Rabbits

It's probably normal for some dogs, but 10 years seems a short time to me. We've had Fraggle for 8 years now - we think she was 2 when we got her from the rescue centre - and I hope she has many years left.
