Just an update on Maya, she has spent 3 days at the vets on fluids and medication, we took her home each night. They have discharged her today with some medication to take home for now, appears it was just a "fever" and nothing more serious. Shes a lot more alert today but no where near the bouncy 1 year old Husky she usually is, hopefully by Monday might be back to herself.

Good to hear Maya is on the mend. Here’s some kisses from Alfie. I’ve taught him to blow a kiss back

Rocco's favourite spot, he would always lie on the back of the sofa and we would put pillows for him to lie on top of the radiator/sofa.
He always liked the end spot the best where there is a gap where the radiator ends between the sofa and the wall which he could fall in and likely get stuck... usually he would lie along the back of the sofa there to sleep so could easily slip.

So I found a cat window ledge thing made by trixie on amazon with clamps etc and it worked perfect, could have made something similar myself I guess but this was easier!
It half covers the radiator and blocks the gap mostly so now he can lie there safely and get the radiator warming him up, despite the look on his face here he seems to be loving it! biggrin

We have a small glamping business. I'm spending a lot time in the grounds getting ready for the new season (it's amazing how much damage moles can do).

Fred is out there with me most of the day, we have a river that runs through the grounds and he amuses himself doing laps of the grounds and in and out of the brook.

At the end of the day:

Anyone got any good tips for building recall?

Our 15month Cockapoo decides when he wants to come back. Decided to go for a wander in the local building site next to the field this morning.

He did come back, but only when he decided too.

Rocco is so adorable! Is he getting a little on the cuddly side though? Or is it just my computer screen resolution?

My working cocker has had a mind of his own about recall, so I am in no position to give good advice.

However, one thing I found useful was a dog whistle. Using this takes the emotion out of calling your dog.

Good luck
