Rocco's favourite spot, he would always lie on the back of the sofa and we would put pillows for him to lie on top of the radiator/sofa.
He always liked the end spot the best where there is a gap where the radiator ends between the sofa and the wall which he could fall in and likely get stuck... usually he would lie along the back of the sofa there to sleep so could easily slip.
So I found a cat window ledge thing made by trixie on amazon with clamps etc and it worked perfect, could have made something similar myself I guess but this was easier!
It half covers the radiator and blocks the gap mostly so now he can lie there safely and get the radiator warming him up, despite the look on his face here he seems to be loving it!
Pics weren’t showing up until now. Great idea. Do you think we spoil them?He always liked the end spot the best where there is a gap where the radiator ends between the sofa and the wall which he could fall in and likely get stuck... usually he would lie along the back of the sofa there to sleep so could easily slip.

Poor Maya, She went out Thursday with a friend of hers (Malinois), was tired the rest of the day, Friday went out with her again, came back Friday and was tired again, Woke up Saturday and wouldn't get out of bed, same Sunday, Also wouldn't eat.
Took her the vets Monday, high temperature, gave her a full day on fluids, released her Monday night temperature had come down (was 40.2, down to about 39.2), Slept in our room last night, I woke up several times and syringed water into her mouth as she wont get up, carried her into the vets again this morning, temp back up at 40.0. So they are keeping her in today again for a day of fluids and also blood tests this time.
They don't seem overly concerned about her, but for a 1 year old bouncy husky to all of a sudden be bed ridden like that, its scary, watching her is like watching my dad in his final weeks. Just hope it is a "fever" and nothing else.
Sparky lost his spark on Thursday. Puked when he tried to eat, then stopped eating. Diarrhea then "flat ears" and lay in his basket all day. Wife took him into vets who confirmed he had the doggie equivalent to Coronavirus. Ten cases a day being presented to each vet up and down the country (they said).Took her the vets Monday, high temperature, gave her a full day on fluids, released her Monday night temperature had come down (was 40.2, down to about 39.2), Slept in our room last night, I woke up several times and syringed water into her mouth as she wont get up, carried her into the vets again this morning, temp back up at 40.0. They gave him a jab of something, and gave my wife some paste to get him to ingest for the next couple of days. Instructions to encourage him to eat.
I got home from a roadtrip on Saturday evening and immediately wanted to take him back to the vet but wife assured me he was better than he had been. Made me realise just how horrible it must have been for her.
Anyway, Sunday he started to drink and by yesterday he was almost back to normal.
Although he can't speak English, he talks with his ears. They are so expressive.
Glad Maya is recovering.
Our village is under water and the local pub got hit badly (4 feet of water in the kitchen, 3 feet in the bar) so I've got the pub dogs staying with me.
11 year old Fudge on the left, 7 year old Jake on the right. My 4 year old Fred in the middle.
We literally had to swim them across this to get them to the bottom of the lane up to my place.
They are a couple of lovely personalities and Fred loves having them around.

Definitely! But then that's partly why we get them I guess, plus you know if the roles were reversed then they would spoil us in more ways than they already do!

Hopefully this little thing will arrive this weekend.
Not got a name yet, but another Boston - it’s Nellys sister.
What swayed it for us was she’s a full sister (15 months apart) so both same parents, and she also has a blue left eye as Nelly has.
Cute! Nice that she is related too Hopefully this little thing will arrive this weekend.

Has Nelly already met her new sister or will that happen at the weekend? Will be a fun weekend for sure!

So far, every other dog Nelly has met has had a positive outcome (none of them seem to have minded the Boston bitey face game...!) , so fingers crossed all will be well...

Will be interesting if they somehow recognise they are siblings, despite the age gap! Not sure how you will tell but still!
Look forward to the pics after the arrival.
