The guy cleaning the carpets has turned up, really nice guy and he bought his little helper, with him, I of course volunteered to look after his helper, meet Millie, she's gorgeous!!!

Millie is lovely but isn't that an entirely stupid thing to do on his part? Once he's cleaned the carpets isn't he going to have to do it all again to get rid of the dog hair?

We are having a lovely time, just a shame it's so bloody hot as we can't do the walks we want, plus Daphne's hay fever is bad too.

Whatever though, its great to get away and both Barry and Daphne are happy.

Can’t wait for Friday! Deefer had his jabs 3 weeks ago and on the 1st day we could (semi) safely actually do any walkies, I started with The ‘Rona symptoms and got a positive test so all of us have been in the slammer since

Friday is the big release so, pending any positive tests tomorrow from the other two that live here, I’ll be happy as a pig in poop taking my little mate for a wander in the woods Friday evening. Can.Not.Wait!!

This is the closest we’ve got to the real world in the past 2 weeks or so. Excuse the feet, I’ve not worn a pair of shoes in near on 3 weeks now

The pupster Catcher had his 4th competition last week, got his first clear round which resulted in a WIN! very proud after all he has been through. So happy to see him running.

I bet you can’t wait to unleash Deefer on the world. It should be slightly cooler by the weekend so you can have a decent walk. Best of luck!

Took Monty to Fewston Reservoir (near Otley, W. Yorks) a lovely walk in the heat as it is mostly shaded by trees but also there are numerous places where doggos can have a refreshing dip to chill the undercarriage. Always on the lead is the rule but doesn't stop this...



But on Monday he was due at the Vet to have a look at a lump on his eyelid, which was removed on Tuesday and now he is...



...a very sad doggo. Hopefully the lump is nothing more than a fatty lump or a blocked something or other, he's back at the Vet's tomorrow and hopefully he can lose the cone but it is going to take a while for his fur to grow back and he now looks a little "piratical" I think. That was taken straight after the op and already the swelling is going down.
