Our lab/staff/collie cross is 12 years old, in the last 3 weeks we've got a Springer Spaniel pup and have managed to nail her food down, currently feeding her Eukanuba? puppy food.

The old boy, whilst in good condition for his age, we want to make sure he's getting a decent food that will hopefully prolong his health. The girlfriend changed his food at the beginning of the year to a food from Tails.com, specifically mixed for him and we alternate his everyday meal in the mornings with a tin of sardines in brine or tinned meat mixed into the dry food with 2 cod liver oil capsules a week, his coat looks fantastic for his age and people always comment on how healthy he looks which I put down to the oily fish he has in his diet.
His evening meal then consists of just a bowl of the dried food, can anyone recommend a good standard dry food?

Wainwrights do a range of trays of wet food for the older dogs. My last lass loved Turkey and rice for the over 7's. Comes in at £1.99 a tray or circa £11 for a box of a few. Have a look in PAH.
