Out 4 5 yr old EBT needs to have an op in the new year to have the hock on his rear leg fused.

Recovery is 12 weeks crated which he will hate. He currently has the run of whole house and garden and was getting near 2 hours a day in total on walks, so he is already going a bit stir crazy having limited exercise.

Looking at normal crates he will just about fit to lie and sleep in one. We need something he can have some water put in with him etc so a little more space to spread out. He wont get left alone much as the wife will be at home but there will be the odd hours a few times a week he'll need to be left.

Been looking at pens but it needs a roof to stop him jumping up.

Anyone got any recommendations on brands / suppliers for an EBT proof enclosure that wont bring on too much claustrophobia.

Many thanks

Pets at home do an XL crate for £55.. We have two EBTs and they have one each, which they use as their beds.. Plenty of room for teh dog and water/food bowls..
