... and it "Thank You !" from him...
Discussion
Dear All,
It's normally at this time of year that I tend to say a general "Thank You and Best of...."
for the Chritmas period.
This, of course, goes to everyone
BUT
this year has been quitre exceptonal.
It started when a lovely French Lady smashed into BlackBeauty© in a hospital car park (my insurance wouldn't cover it).
Whilst driving around with BB, in a less-than-pretty mode, my charging light came on.
This turned out to be the Alternator Drive Belt shredding itself into a thousand pieces.
As she had just pulled 100K I thought I'd give her a decent service and started to replace non-normal items
like the Steering Column UJs.
All in all she's been off the road for 18 months
BUT
Through this time, I've been encouraged to return to the garage by the technical aid and humour of the following crue.
(and, in true SCD fashion " ... and in no particular order...")
I would like to send my thanks and grateful best wishes for the festive season
and wish HRALTH and HAPPINESS in 2020 to
CerbWill........Gazzab........TwinKam........Byker28i........Rufus Roughcut........Penelope Stopit
ukkid35........spitfire4x8........Wolvesboy........Peter Essling........Supateg........phazed
Classic Chim........Stnned Monkey........Thunderroad........jhonno........Flatplane8........FarmyardPants
gruffalo........Chuggaboom........The Nige........BIG DUNC........judder........Tanguero........billy no brakes
Without your generosity a Cerbera would have bitten the dust in darkest Europe.
All the best, boys

It's one of the best things about owning a TVR, is how the other owners go out of their way to help people, or just to provide that little bit of encouragement when you're feeling down because somethings broken.... I've had it so many times I think I'm still trying to pay it forward.
Merry Christmas to all owners

What a pleasant surprise to see my name on this famed list, whatever it was I’m glad I helped in some way.
I’m a typical example of a fellow who has learnt most things Tvr from Tvr folk and been helped countless times by the community.
Merry Christmas to all.
Onwards and upwards in our quest for the perfect Tvr

A happy Christmas to all too. Mine has been off the road (more or less) for 2 years now. I'm now but a gearbox refit and a trip to Jools' away from full fitness. What a great little community the TVR world is. I'd done some minor spannering before the Cerb, but I've learned so much in the 5 years I've had mine. Thanks to PH and well done to all in keeping them on the road.
