Changed the taste of roasted peanuts!?

Has anyone else noticed this, that many of the roasted salted peanuts are changing to a new recipe that's blander and harder? Asked the mrs to get me only aldi or KP and went for some last night but bugger aldi have changed too now, thought I might be going mad but the mrs tried a few and confirmed!

What is this ste, some new pseudo healthier recipe?

Sussed it out, RAPE SEED OIL

Waitrose, aldi and others have all switched to this when its yuck, KP using sunflower oil and lush.

I suspect a subcontracted makeing nuts wholesale? Try some and compare.

Or ignore me.
