Anyone know about spiders?

Spiders- they are your friends. Every summer we put up a fly screen on the back door, and even then we get a blue bottle or such in the front room. Chase it and it heads down behind the TV, where we believe a large spider lives. I've never seen any fly/bluebottle come back back up. it's natures way of sorting out problems.

I remember pulling down our old rotten shed at the bottom of the garden at our old house, and finding dozens of them, complete with a number of egg sacs. It certainly put paid to the disposal idea I'd started out with, which was to chuck the wood in the car and take it to the tip.

Decided to give them a couple of days to move on, and then had a bonfire instead.
