Buying a Labrador these days

Thought it was time for an update.

We weren't looking, but took cadbury to the vets for her nails to be clipped and they asked if we were looking again yet as a local veterinary nurse had puppies she was looking for homes for a couple...

So we went to have a look, the breeder is KC registered, as is her dog (pet) and the father (KC registered gun/stud dog). All dna checks, scores etc.

So Asha, a black labrador female pup will come home with us in a weeks time. KC registered now, the 5 weeks insurance, all the good things...
Asha seemed a good name - Sanskrit, Swahili for hope/life...

Bruce is doing well , 14 weeks old this weekend , now attending puppy classes once a week and going on daily walks . Growing fast

They'll come when we get her. She can leave this week, but we're back and forth until the weekend so will get her next Monday so she has some stability at the start. She's slightly chunkier than Luna was.

This is great news Byker, I am pleased you are getting back on the horse so soon after poor Luna. I'd imagine that was a hard decision initially - fingers crossed and awaiting avalanche of cute puppy pictures
